For example, our hands-on courses in SPSS and R are an effective alternative to solo study. We can provide ongoing mentoring, too, to help cement the formal training as your staff apply their skills day to day.

We have worked with a wide range of public and private organisations, including the Metropolitan Police. It tasked us with showing analysts officers how to create a richer understanding by using supplementary data, like weather conditions and high street occupancy. We showed how to test for correlations to identify likely crime hot spots.

The candidates use what we showed them day to day in the fight against crime, and we’ve since been asked to extend the programme to many further forces.
