Simon, having originally trained in product design, started his career in retail trade marketing before moving into marketing technology, data analytics and insight development.

He has more than 20 years experience developing data mining, machine learning and marketing technology solutions, delivering direct and digital marketing programs across a wide range of business sectors including retail, FMCG, telecoms, charities, and logistics.

Whilst at university, Simon was chairman of its caving club and spent most of his subsequent informative years caving, mountaineering and mountain biking. Having slowed down considerably these days he is now a passionate and accomplished astro-imager, imaging all things celestial, as well as having his own workshop and exploring the world of 3D printing.
