Nigel specialises in application analysis and integration work, database functionality and warehousing designs using Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS). He has been involved in countless architectures and implementations for sales, marketing and financial reports. He has plenty of experience of application and data interfacing, cleansing, migrations and multi-source integrations.
He has over 30 years of experience at businesses such as Premier Foods, BBC, Virgin Media, Siemens and Unilever. A recent project involved using DevOps and Agile techniques to develop discrete business applications, interfacing with Corporate Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Microsoft 365 and Active Directory, to create customised support apps, delivered through Web browsers. These were architected using MongoDB, Express, Agile and Node.js, and ran on a Containerised Serverless Compute platform.
Nigel enjoys helping out with his local Scouting troop and loves watching old black and white detective films. Sometimes you will find him hidden behind a Japanese manga novel translating the story very, very slowly.
